14168 - Teacher Recommendation Status Report - Next Year Scheduling

This report will show you all courses and the recommendations given by the teachers for the following school year. This will only show you departments that are setup to collect recommendations.

Shows you course rosters with Teacher Recommendations. You can also run this report to show you rosters that need recommendations.

The report has several parameters that allow you to control the report results. They are:

Department, which would be current courses assigned department.

Teacher, which would be the current teacher for the course/the teacher who made the recommendation.

Next Grade Level, which comes from the students next year assignment.

From there, we have options for which recommendations to show in the results.

The Show Recommendations option if set to Yes tells the report to show the actual recommended courses. If this is No, we would then just return Recommendation found for the students with them.

If Show student recommendations is set to Yes will show the course that was recommended for the student. If this No, then we would not display the information.

The option Show Courses with all recommendations posted if set to No, will only show courses where not all recommendations have been posted. If set to Yes, then it will show the courses that have not posted their recommendations, as well as those who have posted for all the students in the course.

If you run the report with Show Recommendations-No, Show Student Recommendations-No and Show Courses with all recommendations posted set to Yes, then for the course it will just state “All recommendations have been posted.”

You can then omit students who are inactive or PG.

You can also choose to show the Special Ed Status, Counselor Column, and/or display date and time the recommendation was posted.
