Destiny Fine Import

Imports fine information from Destiny into Genesis. Import is transmitted as an XML file. XML file contains a "FineID" element. Genesis uses and stores this FineID on the FEE2.otherfineID column. When reading in a fine from the XLM import file, if the FeeID exists in Genesis (FEE2.otherfineID), that Fee will be updated with the amount found in file. If the FeeID does not exist then the Fee will be created. If the newly created Fee has a Fee Category not found in your FEE_CATEGORY codes file, it will be created.

Note:

If you are using the InstantSync fee/fine integration with a payment vendor, newly inserted fines will only be sent over to vendor when the InstantSync Nightly task is run.

Import Options:

Path (including file name) to import file - Here, you must enter the full path of the file you want to import from.

Waive fees not found in file - If this option is selected, then any pre-existing Destiny fines in the system that aren't found in the file will be automatically waived.

Run in test mode - If this option is selected, the import task will run in "Test mode", so no fees will actually be imported or updated.
