Modify District Screen

Different options/parameters can be found via Setup>Districts>Basic Params.

Notes

District Dates

Start Date / End Date

Enter the start and end dates for your school district.

Registration Parameters

Make Race required in Registration


Use Street Map Screen For Registration


Update student's zip code from school's zip in Registration


Require 'US Entry Date' on Registration->New Student and Preregister->Required screen if Country of Birth is not United States


Require Birth City and State on Registration->New Student and Preregister->Required screen if Country of Birth is United States


Do not auto update Resident District and School Code when choosing School on Registration screen


Show 'Calculate' tool for 'Class Of' during Registration


Student Information Bar

Show Gifted and Talented Icon in Student Information Bar

Icon will be displayed for students who are marked as gifted and talented.

Show Sports Icons in Student Information Bar

Icons will be displayed for students who are marked as participated and if the sport has an icon saved.

Display class end time Student Information Bar

The class end time will be displayed along with the students current class information.

Student Parameters

Show warning icon for students marked as Hispanic without additional race selected


Student ID Size (Attendance Cards)


Warn when a change in Guardian 1 Address would result in a different Street Map School Assignment


Include 'Complex' field in Mailing Line 1


Hide Testing Tab (Student Data)

Added option to hide 'Testing' tab from Student Data

Do not include text 'Apt.' when displaying an address with apartment in Mailing Line 1


SUM GPAs Include All Student's Schools


Allow Student Schedules to be Locked

Courses can be locked from a students Current/Next Year Scheduling tab while in List view. Locked courses cannot be dropped from any of the student scheduling screens.

Allow Student Requests to be Locked

Requests can be locked from a students next year requests -> current requests screen. Locked requests cannot be dropped from any of the student next year request screens.

Enable PTC transfers from the Student IEP screen


Show an 'Expired' icon when Custody Issue has ended


System Parameters

Allow GenMessages to be sent between Genesis Users

If this is checked, users will be able to create and send messages between each other.

Use Dedicated Class Attendance Thread

Increases speed of class attendance posting

Allow URL Login for Genesis Users

If this is checked, certain users will be able to login to genesis using a url with their username and password.

Include School Code in school dropdown at top of screen


Use 'Default Mail Client' for emails sent in Genesis

Check this if you would like your users Default Mail Client for emails sent through Genesis. This applies to the Student Contacts screen and some Gradebook screens. Gradebook screens that generate students reports are sent thoguh Genesis.

Allow teachers to print their schedule from the change password screen


Show Quick Search Icon


Show Mini Toolbar Icons

If this is not checked, the mini toolbar option in the user header and for the modify student tabs will not be displayed.
