Overview
A unit is a way to group your assignments in your gradebook.
For instance, if you have a set of assignments that relate to a specific topic in class, say the Volcano, then you can mark each of those assignments as being part of the Volcanoes unit.
This is useful to see which parts of your courses that students are doing well, and conversely, not so well.
Gradebook->Profiles->Modify
- Click 'Add New Unit' button to add a new unit to the current profile
- There is no limit to the amount of units you can have in a profile
Gradebook->Assignments->Add Assignment/Modify Assignment
- To tie an assignment to an unit use the 'Assignment Unit' field to set the unit for the currently selected assignment
Gradebook->Gradebook->Spreadsheet
- Use the 'Assignment Filter' to easily show only assignments tied to a particular unit
