IHP Templates

Genesis has added the ability to have an "IHP Template" library.  

This provide the ability to create a set of predefined IHPs that can be quickly added to a student's record.

The IHP Template 'library' screen is Nurses>Setup>IHP Templates.

The IHP Templates screen in the "Nurse Setup" area houses the IHP Template 'library'.  

Initially there are no plans as Genesis does not distribute content:

Creating an IHP Template

Enter the name of your IHP Template:

Then click the  button to actually create the template.  This adds the template to the list of templates:

Quick View of IHP Template Contents

From the IHP Template list screen, you can get a quick view of the contents of the IHP Template by clicking the  'view' icon at the left side of the line:

This displays the contents in a popup.

To close the quick view, click the close icon (that replaces the view icon for an expanded template) at the left side of the line.

Localizing a Template to a Subset of Schools

By default, IHP Templates are visible in and available to all schools in the district.  IHP Templates can be localized/linked to a specific school or schools - and not visible in other schools.

To localize a template, click the school icon in the "Available To" column for the template you wish to localize:

This brings up a dialog where you can choose which schools to restrict the template to:

Note that by default templates are available to all schools.  To localize the template to particular schools, uncheck the checkboxes for all other schools, then click .

Once you have restricted the schools that can access the template, it will be visible only when one of the schools to which it is visible is selected in the "Show Templates Available to" drop down:

If a template is localized to certain schools, when it is visible, the label in the "Available To" column displays the number of schools to which it is visible: . To determine which specific schools the template is available to, you must re-click the school icon to bring up the dialog and view which schools are checked off:

Modifying a Template - Filling in Information Fields

To modify a template, locate it in the list of templates on the Nurses>Setup>IHP Templates screen:

Click the edit icon for the template you wish to modify.  This brings up the 'Modify Template' dialog:

Enter your information into the fields and click the  button to save your changes.

Changing the Name of an IHP Template

To change the name of a template, go to the Nurses>Setup>IHP Templates screen, and locate the template whose name you wish to change:

Enter the new name in the Plan Name field, then click the  button to save your change.

Deleting an IHP Template

To remove an IHP template, go to the Nurses>Setup>IHP Templates screen, and locate the template you wish to delete:

Click thedelete trashcan icon.  This will bring up a confirmation dialog:

Click  to continue and remove the IHP Template.

Copy an IHP Template

To copy an IHP template, go to the Nurses>Setup>IHP Templates screen, and locate the template you wish to copy:

Click thecopy icon.  This will bring up a 'Copy IHP Template' dialog:

Enter the name of the copied plan:

Then click  to continue and create the copy:

You can now proceed to modify the copy.
