14141 - Student Assignment Report

New: We added a new option "View Students who may have incorrect Assignments". Determines incorrect assignments based on Student Data -> Next School and Grade tab setup.

The Student Assignment Report allows you to view your students and their next year assignments. Shows you the current and next year school assignments for students.

This is an important part of Next Year Scheduling and Summer Rollover. You can give student's a next year assignment individually via Student Data>Modify Student>Demographics>Required and/or en masse using the "Assign Students" button on the Student Data>Next School and Grade>Mass Assignments screen. Review the scheduling/summer rollover documentation if you're unsure on how to assign these.

Report Parameter	Notes
Students Current School (Blank for All)	You can select a specific school, if needed. Otherwise, this will run for the entire district. (You should leave this blank if you are checking all of your students for the summer rollover, for example.)
Ignore INACT school	Toggle this on and off, if you want to include students placed into the "INACT" school in your system. It defaults to "YES."
School Assignment (Blank for All)	You can select a specific school, if needed. Otherwise, this will run for the entire district. (You should leave this blank if you are checking all of your students for the summer rollover, for example.)
Report Type	Select one option: View Students WITHOUT Assignments This will help you locate the kids that still need a Next Year Assignment. View Student Assignments This will help you review the next year assignments given out to students currently. View Students Who May Have Incorrect Assignments Determines incorrect assignments based on Student Data>Next School and Grade tab setup.
Sort By	Current Year Info and/or Next Year Info.
Sort Order	By Student Name; By Counselor, Student Name; or By Grade Level, Student Name
Create/Replace a student list called	This will create a student list based on the results generated when the report is run.
