Overview
The following are Example Reports that were created using the Genesis Report Writer.
You may Download any of the reports listed, Install them onto your Genesis, and Change/Edit as necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: These reports were created by customers or Genesis support, and may not do exactly what your district needs, so please read the descriptions carefully. It is also important that you run tests to ensure it's producing the information and results needed. Some editing may be required for the report to work as you need it to, and you can make these changes using the Report Writer. If you are unfamiliar with writing reports in Genesis, it is strongly recommended you watch a Report Writer training video.

| District User Flags List - Download Report A list of user flags defined for the District, with various sort and select options. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023 |  |
| Failed Logon Attempts Report - Download Report This report lists all failed logon attempts into Genesis and the Portal, due to invalid password or logging into a disabled account. You can run this with a date range to find out exactly how many times an incorrect password was used from a specific IP address. In order for Genesis to record an invalid password attempt, the username must exist within Genesis. Bad Passwords to invalid usernames are not logged. Created by: Greg Last updated: May 2020 |  |
| User Summary Report - Download Report This report will list all staff logins, with e-mail address of the user as well as the connected STAFF record. So the e-mail address on the Genesis account can be compared with the e-mail address on the associated Staff member's record from the STAFF module. It has been updated to include AD, LDAP, and MFA information. Can be run for users missing Multi-Factor provider. Created by: Greg Last updated: Sept 2022 |  |
| User Login Analysis Report - Download Report This report can be used to determine which staff members (District Teacher file entries) are linked to which user logins. | Staff List for Permissions Analysis Report - Download Report This report lists all active "Staff Member" (rows in the District Teacher table) with the "jobs" checked off on their Demographics screen (e.g. Disciplinarian, Nurse, Teacher, ...) .
