Genesis Quarterly Maintenance Services

Genesis will perform the following maintenance tasks four times per year in accordance with Oracle’s patching schedule.

1. Oracle Patching to latest sub version
   • Oracle UCP and OJDBC driver updates
   • Oracle tablespaces, LOB's, and indexes re-analyzed and rebuilt 
   • Tablespace extensions
2. PostgreSQL database patching
   • PostgreSQL JDBC Driver
   • Performance Tuning
3. Apache Tomcat patched to latest version
4. Java patched to latest version
5. Genesis libraries updated to latest
6. Operating System updates to latest version and system power cycle
7. System checks will also be performed including disk and raid array health

Quarter # 1 - July 1 to Sept 30

Quarter # 2 - Oct 1 to Dec 30

Quarter # 3 - Jan 1 to March 30

Quarter # 4 - April 1 to June 30

            NOTE:  Oracle licensing agreement is the responsibility of the school district
