Custom Reports: Grading Module

Overview

The following are Example Reports that were created using the Genesis Report Writer.

You may Download any of the reports listed, Install them onto your Genesis, and Change/Edit as necessary.

PLEASE NOTE:    These reports were created by customers or Genesis support, and may not do exactly what your district needs, so please read the descriptions carefully. It is also important that you run tests to ensure it's producing the information and results needed. Some editing may be required for the report to work as you need it to, and you can make these changes using the Report Writer. If you are unfamiliar with writing reports in Genesis, it is strongly recommended you watch a Report Writer training video.

Student School Year Honor Roll Report - Download Report This report provides the count of Honor Rolls a student has made that as well as identifying which Honor Rolls the student has qualified for. Created by: Greg Last updated: May 2023
Current Gradebook Grade VS Prior Marking Period Grade Report - Download Report This report lists student's current GB grade and the prior MP's grade, for students whose prior MP average falls below a selected cutoff value: Looking for failing students. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023
Student Grade History Table for Middle School Students Report - Download Report This report lists all records in the Student Grade History table for a specific set of years and for middle school (6th to 8th grade) students.  You will have to localize it for your school. Gradebook Grade Posting Status Report - Download Report This report will show the percentage of students given MP grades from GB. The report can be run by department, teacher or course code. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023
Graduation Requirements Form Report - Download Report Creates a form (one pg. per student) with student demographics, photo, graduation pathway, credit requirements based on 'class of' year, and credits needed for graduation. Created by: Greg Last updated: Jan 2022
Students Missing Credits Report - Download Report Lists students with all credit requirements for their class of year. Includes credits required, earned, needed, credits taking, and credits requesting. Report can be run for all subject areas, or only subject areas where student is still 'Needing' X amount of credits. Important Note: This report gathers credit totals using the 'StudentGraduationRequirement' table. The totals in this data table are only recalculated by visiting the student's Graduation screen, or if 'Student Maintenance' task is set to do so on a nightly basis. Student Historic Courses and Final Grades Report - Download Report Lists students with all courses they've ever taken, or taken in selected school years, with the final grades. Page break per each student. Created by: Genesis Last updated: Jan 2018
Gradebook Grade VS Posted Grade Comparison - Download Report This is an export of all 4 marking period grades posted to the report card, along with gradebook averages. The "RC" columns indicate the posted grades, and the "GB" columns indicate that the grades represent gradebook averages. Created by: Greg Last updated: May 2020
Student Marking Period Straight-A's Report - Download Report This report finds students who have all A's (A+, A, A-) in a selected Marking Period.  Students can be sorted by name, counselor, or grade level.    It works for Marking Periods MP1 to MP4. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023

Skills Based Grades Export - Download Report Exports all skill grades in the school. Pulls skill grades from GRADING module only (not for report cards housed in the Elementary Grading module). This report has been updated to assist in preparing your Spring Assessment Data Collection report. You can now filter by specific skill grades earned (ex: 1,2,3 etc.)  Created by: Greg Last updated: March 2021
Student GPA Report (no rank) - Download Report Report exports student GPA values for the selected GPA. By default, only students with this GPA calculated will appear. The purpose of this report is to export student's latest calculated GPA, without having to first calculate the RANK in addition. Sorts students from highest to lowest GPA.
