Lunchbox Export

Lunchbox Export Features

The Lunchbox Export can be found on the Core.Scheduler page.  The Lunchbox export performs the following tasks:

  • Create a CSV file of students for the Lunchbox application and places it at a specified path on the server.
  • Optionally send that file to an FTP Server

Student Selection

Students (active and inactive) from any School in Genesis.  Students from schools with the following flags are not included:

  1. Include students in state reporting set to NO
  2. In District School set to NO
  3. Summer School set to YES

These flags are found on the Setup.Schools.Modify screen.

CSV File Format

The file that is created is a ~ (Tilde) delimited file.   This specification was set by the vendor; not Genesis.
