Overview

This screen controls the look of your progress reports that you can send out of the Gradebook. Many times, parents and/or counselors need to see how a student is doing at a weekly or daily interval.

Using this screen you can tailor your report to show the proper data. Here is a breakdown of the options available to you.

Gradebook->Profiles->Modify Profile->Progress Report Settings

  • Only Show Graded Assignments - This option controls whether assignments that have not been graded show up on the progress report.
  • Show Teacher Signature Line - This option will create a signature line at the bottom of the report for the teacher.
  • Show Parent Signature Line - This option will create a signature line at the bottom of the report for the parent.
  • Show Class Averages - This option controls whether the class average for each assignment is shown or not.
  • Round Averages to Two Decimal Places - This option will make your averages only round and display your averages to 2 decimal places.
  • Show Extra Credit Total - This option controls whether the Extra Credit message is displayed.
  • Translate Numeric Assignment Grade to Alpha - If this option is set to Yes, than numeric assignment grades are translated to your profiles equivalent alpha grade.
