The Setup>Districts>Custom Contact Flag page allows you to add Alert Flags to your student contact's phone numbers and email records.
There are 10 available flags that you may edit. For each flag, you can set:
- Description - The description will be available whenever a user "mouses over" a custom contact flag header.
- Label - will be displayed on the contacts and parent access screens.
- Use For Phones - flags with Use For Phones set, will be allowed to be set for phone numbers in the system
- Use For Email- flags with Use For Email set, will be allowed to be set for emails in the system
- Show on Contacts Screen - will make the flag appear on the contacts screen
- Show on Parents Module - will make flag appear on the Contact Management screen in Parent Access. (additional permissions for this will need to be set on the Parent Access School Settings page in addition to this flag
Additionally the screen will show you how many contact records are currently set with a particular Custom Contact Flag.
