Custom Reports: Contact Information

Overview

The following are Example Reports that were created using the Genesis Report Writer.

You may Download any of the reports listed, Install them onto your Genesis, and Change/Edit as necessary.

PLEASE NOTE:    These reports were created by customers or Genesis support, and may not do exactly what your district needs, so please read the descriptions carefully. It is also important that you run tests to ensure it's producing the information and results needed. Some editing may be required for the report to work as you need it to, and you can make these changes using the Report Writer. If you are unfamiliar with writing reports in Genesis, it is strongly recommended you watch a Report Writer training video.

Guardian Contact Extract - Download Report Create an XLS of Guardian 1 and 2's Contact info including phone numbers and addresses using the StudentContact2Summary object. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023
Dual Households Report - Download Report This reports all students who's Guardian 1 and 2 live at a separate residence. This will only give students who have an address on file for both parents. Created by: Genesis Last updated: Sept 2016
Guardian Parent Account Status Report - Download Report This report lists Guardian contacts for students with their attached email addresses and identifies which emails are associated with Parent Accounts and which are not. Includes various show/no show parameters. Created by: Genesis Last updated: May 2023
Zip Code Cleanup Report - Download Report This report will locate addresses with a zip code that is set with a 'sequence' number of zero. Zip Codes are stored on this screen: Setup > Districts > Zip Codes. Bad zip codes (ie. wrong city/zip combination) must be updated to seq. of 0 prior to running this report. Exports all address records for active students only, all schools except "INACT" Once the addresses have been corrected to the appropriate zip code, the bad zip codes can then be deleted from the system. Custody-Sensitive Emergency Verification Form - Download Report A Emergency Verification Form that makes heavy use of "ReportWriter Expressions" to create a flexible form that is sensitive to custody issues. Created by: Greg Last updated: May 2023
Siblings with Different Addresses - Download Report This report will list all active students in the current school, with up to 3 siblings for each student. If any of the three siblings have a Mailing Line 1 that is different from the student's Guardian 1, they will appear on the report. Students in the current school will be hidden from the report if all of their siblings have matching addresses. Created by: Greg Last updated: May 2023
