Overview
A new security feature has been implemented to block logon attempts from usage types such as Data Center, Web Hosting, and Transit (DCH).
Users may experience difficulty logging in from certain sites that you may deem as safe. If needed, you can add these sites to your whitelist. When a login attempt is blocked, the user's audit log will display the error message IP Address Block Rule.
Steps for allowing logins for a user
Navigate to Setup > Security > IP Tools
In the IP Address Lookup field, enter the IP address of the user you want to add to your security filter whitelist.
Click the Look Up button to run the search.
Once the results are displayed, find the ISP name and copy it.
Click the Add Rule button > Paste the copied ISP name into the window, then click the Add button to save it.
The new unblocked ISP should now be listed at the bottom of the screen:
