Located under Setup -> Google -> Classroom Admin -> Guardians, this screen allows administrators to invite guardians to students google classrooms and search for students based on student ID and school. When a guardian is invited, they receive updates for all classrooms the student is in, they cannot be limited to only receive updates for certain classrooms. They will receive an invitation via email that they can accept.
Options:
- Invite selected contacts: the selected guardians will receive an invitation in the email, assuming they have not already accepted an invitation, or already have on pending
- Get Guardian information from Google: This will update the status of all selected guardians in order to see if they have accepted or declined their current invitation
- Remove Selected guardians from Google Classroom: This will remove the selected guardians (only if they have accepted their invitation) from Google Classroom.
- Rescind selected guardian invites from Google Classroom: If a parent has not yet accepted their invitation, this will invalidate the invitation, allowing a new one to be sent
