Incident IQ Sync

The Incident IQ Sync imports fees into Genesis from Incident IQ when the task is run. When a payment is made in Genesis to one of these imported fees, the payment is automatically posted to Incident IQ.

Task Setup

The following fields must be provided by Incident IQ:

• API Key

• API Domain

• User ID

• Site ID

• Product ID

Run in Test Mode

When enabled, this mode will log and generate Excel files containing the full results of the sync without saving any changes to Genesis.

Fee Categories

Required: You must either import fee categories from Incident IQ or select a Genesis fee category.

• If imported from Incident IQ, fees will be assigned to the corresponding Incident IQ fee category.

• If a Genesis fee category is selected, all imported fees will be posted to that Genesis category.

Note: Only payments made to fees within the selected Genesis fee category will be sent to Incident IQ.

Importing Fees and Fines

Fees are imported by running the Incident IQ Sync task. 

Do not import fees with a creation date older than:
Required. Fees in Incident IQ created before the selected date will not be imported into Genesis.

Waive fees in Genesis that have an amount due of zero in Incident IQ:
If an Incident IQ fee has an amount due of zero, the corresponding Genesis fee will be waived.

Waive fees in Genesis that do not exist in Incident IQ:
If a fee in Genesis (within the selected fee categories) does not exist in the Incident IQ import, it will be waived.

Exporting Payments

When a payment is made in Genesis to a fee in one of the selected fee categories, the payment is immediately sent to Incident IQ, provided:

• The task is enabled.

• Valid credentials are set in the task properties.

• The "Instantly Export Payments" option is enabled.

Export Payments:

Enabling this option will send any payments made in Genesis that were not sent to Incident IQ. A date must also be entered for the below option for this to work, and the task must be enabled.

Do not send payments with a creation date older than:
Use this to send payments from Genesis to Incident IQ that have not been sent. If selected, all unsent payments made on or after the specified date (within the selected categories) will be sent.
