--------------- New / Enhanced 'SMS Body' should be filled out for all of these templates as not all phones can process HTML texts and many accept no more than 160 characters. As a result they may not render correctly on a parents mobile phone. In order to more easily identify templates used in this manner, we have added a Notification column on the 'Parent Access>Setup>Email Template' screen. All column on this screen are also now sortable. |

Where can we send emails out to parents within Genesis?
Quick overview of spots for districts to review:
- NEW! Parent Access>Setup>Users>Logon IDs: perform a search for accounts, once results appear, you can click "Email all users found by search" without checking them off. This will send to ALL accounts in your search results.
- Parent Access>Setup>Users>Logon IDs: perform a search for accounts, once results appear, you may check them off, and click "Email Selected Users.
- Parent Access>Maintenance: we have a "Mass Email Parent Access Users" tool (it would email ALL users. make sure you don't send out an email with the Password macro unless you really do want to reset every recipient's parent portal password etc.)
- Student Data>Student List>Address Search: you can perform a search here for various contact types, and we have tools to send out an email (using your email client)
