ASSA Student Placement

There is a "Find Student ID" box in the lower left hand side of the Attendance>ASSA>Analyze Data screen where you can enter the Student ID to see what their placement is.

Full Time Students Not Sent or Received (FNSR)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis school marked as "Include in State Reporting" that is NOT listed in the Sent Full, Sent Shared, Received Full, Received Share (see definitions below) columns on the Analyze Data Summary screen.

Received Full (RecF)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" but NOT as "Is Alternative", "Is Charter", "Is Choice", "Is Out Of District" or "Is Private School Disabled" AND having an active October 15^th Tuition record that has a tuition code other than "Tuition Free: child of a teaching staff member".
 (A student who qualifies for this group may be removed and placed into Received Shared (RecS) instead if the student also qualifies as Sent Shared (SentS).)

On Roll Full (ORF)

Summed value of FNSR and RecF

Received Shared (RecS)

Any Student enrolled on Oct 15th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that is marked as "SHARED TIME:" Received on the Student's Demographics page.
 OR if the Student falls into both the Sent Shared (SentS) and Received Full (RecF) groups above, then the student will be removed from "Received Full (RecF) and placed into Received Shared (RecS).

Sent Full (SentF)

Student with an active Special Ed Classification record on October 15^th marked as "OUT OF DISTRICT" and where the Student is NOT federally classified as Home Instruction.
Any tuition Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis out of district school marked as both "Include in State Reporting" and one of the following; "Is Alternative", "Is Charter", "Is Choice", or "Is Private School Disabled".

Sent Shared (SentS)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis school marked as "Include in State Reporting" and marked as "SHARED TIME": Sent on the Student's Demographics page.

Free Lunch Full (FLF)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that has an active October 15^th Lunch Record marked with a Free Lunch code. Student also MUST NOT qualify as Sent Full (SentF), Sent Shared (SentS) or Received Shared (RecS).

Free Lunch Shared (FLS)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that has an active October 15^th Lunch Record marked with a Free Lunch code. Student must also qualify as Sent Shared (SentS) or Received Shared (RecS).

Reduced Lunch Full (RLF)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that has an active October 15^th Lunch Record marked with a Reduced Lunch code. Student also MUST NOT qualify as Sent Full (SentF), Sent Shared (SentS) or Received Shared (RecS).

Reduced Lunch Shared (RLS)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that has an active October 15^th Lunch Record marked with a Reduced Lunch code. Student must also qualify as Sent Shared (SentS) or Received Shared (RecS).

LEP ALL (LEP)

Any Student enrolled on October 15^th in a Genesis School marked as "Include in State Reporting" that has an active October 15^th LEP record that is marked with a LEP code of <, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10.

LEP Free (LepF)

Any Student who qualifies as LEP ALL (LEP) and either Free Lunch Full (FLF) or Free Lunch Shared (FLS).

LEP Reduced (LepR)

Any Student who qualifies as LEP ALL (LEP) and either Reduced Lunch Full (RLF) or Reduced Lunch Shared (RLS).

LEP Not Low Income (LepN)

Any Student who qualifies as LEP ALL (LEP) and DOES NOT qualify as LEP Free (LepF) or LEP Reduced (LepR).

Speech Only (Speech)

As of October 15th. Genesis will check to see if there is an Active IEP on 10/15 (not exited prior to 15th) that is flagged with a Special Ed Code of "Eligible for Speech Services Only".

Note: Genesis will continue to pickup students who's IEP have ended prior to October 15^th in case the district plans on adding a new IEP for the student, but hasn't yet. Genesis performs this check as follows:
If there is no 10/15 IEP, the most recent IEP is used instead. However, if the most recent IEP has an exit date, or starts after 10/15, it will not qualify for the report. This is the same logic used in the October 15^th Special Ed submission.
