Overview

Two new tabs were added to Conduct > Summary (released April 2022) which can export a district summary of action and incident totals, which can be broken down by Grade Level, Ethnicity, and other demographic information. Both of the Summary screens have the ability to export the data into an Excel spreadsheet, or PDF document by using the following tools:

Summary of Actions

A display of the district or school's action totals (ex: # of detentions), which can be summarized per Grade Level or Ethnicity. This screen shows the actions within a selected time period, or Full Year to run totals for the entire school year.

The Totals to Show options allow for 3 different sets of totals to display, per action. They can all be toggled on to display all of them at once:

All Uses (Duplicated Count) - Adds to the totals for ALL uses of the action. For example, if 2 students were involved in a single incident, and they both received the same Action code, this total will display "2" instead of "1" (duplicated).

Unique Students - Will display how many individual students are being included in this total.

Unique Incidents - Will display how many individual incidents are being included in this total.

The totals found within the Summary are all clickable. Click on a specific total # to open up the list of students (audit) for that total. The students and actions listed should reflect the total number within the Summary table. 

The results can be output to both PDF and Excel like report 51325-Monthly Summary of Actions

Example Excel Export

The following is a sample export of the Action Summary tab in Excel. The exported report will reflect the selected summary from the search. So if you selected Ethnicity in the Summarize Totals By option, the export will contain the Ethnic Summary instead of by Grade Level. After clicking on the Excel icon to export, you will be asked if you would like to Include Student Audit (list of individual students that make up the totals). The first spreadsheet will contain totals by Action and Race:

The additional spreadsheets (within the same downloaded file) will contain the student audits, by type of Action. The following shows an example of how it can list specifically out of school suspension totals: 

Summary of Incidents

This screen will list all conduct Incidents for the school or district within a Time Period, or Full Year to run for the entire school year. It can be run for a specific grade level, ethnicity, or all grades/ethnicities.

The results can be output to both PDF and Excel like report 51350-Monthly Summary of Incidents.

Example Excel Export

The following is a sample export of the Incident Summary tab in Excel. The first spreadsheet will list additional student categories such as Grade, Race, IEP, 504, Homeless, Lunch Status, etc.Within the same downloaded file, you will also receive a spreadsheet with the Infraction Summary:
