What Next Year Requests Look Like in the Parent Portal

The actual "Scheduling" tab is for NEXT YEAR SCHEDULING.  The "Current Year Scheduling" info for students will display on the Student Summary screen.

You can enable/disable parent requests (to allow parents to MAKE requests) via Parent Access>Setup>Settings>School Settings>Next Year Requests:

Parents would then access this by clicking the "Requests" sub tab of the "Scheduling" tab. 

With the above options checked, it would look like this for parents:

If parents see a "Request a Course" button for a subject, they can then click that to get to the next screen, the "Course Catalog" screen, where they can actually make the request:

Once parents have made actual selections, this how the screen will look - and if you have it set up to do so, they can click "Submit" to acknowledge these selections.  (This is optional).
