How to Import Assignment Grades with an Excel File

If you click on the "Create Assignment Import Sheet" button found on the Gradebook>Gradebook>Grade Assignment screen, it will generate an excel for you.

This is what the "Create Assignment Import Sheet" button creates for you:


You can then update that excel that was generated with grades for the students.

Example:

For the Absent/Exempt/Incomplete/Missing columns, entering a Y in the column will check it off for the student.


When you are ready with your updated file, you can then click on the "Import Grades" button on that same screen.


A pop up will appear where you can choose the file from your computer and click "Import Grades."



Exporting Assignment Grades

If you are looking for a way to EXPORT student grades, you can export assignment grades from one course section into one excel file via Gradebook>Gradebook within the "Quick Links" button on the right.

This is what it looks like when you hover over the "Quick Links" button:

When you hover over "Quick Links" you will see the "Export Data as an Excel File" option - which will export the assignment grades into one excel file.
