Importing Rubrics in Gradebook

If you have a Rubric ".gz" file that was created by exporting a Rubric from a Genesis system, you can import it into your Genesis SIS.  

You cannot import Rubrics in any other file format than ".gz" files (and you cannot take another file type and make it a .gz file by changing the file extension). These special files can only be obtained from Genesis, by downloading an existing Gradebook Rubric.

The Gradebook->Rubrics->Import Rubric screen allows you to import a Rubric and associate it with one or more of your Gradebooks:

To Import a Rubric .gz File

1. Go to the Gradebook->Rubrics->Import Rubric screen:
   
2. Check off the Gradebooks you want the imported Rubric to be available for.
3. Click the "Choose File" button to bring up a normal File Dialog.
4. Once you have selected the .gz file to import, click the Import button:
   
5. If the file is a valid .gz file, this loads the Rubric into the selected Gradebooks.  If the import completes successfully, you will see the following dialog:
