Prescheduling Procedures

Navigate to the Next Year Scheduling>Process Control screen.  This is the screen you use to push info from the current year to next year.

This screen is important for Next Year Scheduling, as well as for completing your summer rollover.

Each of these processes are only for the Current School that is selected at the top of the screen.

These processes must be run for every school in your district that will be doing grading or scheduling.

Different types of schools have different needs for scheduling.

NOTE: If you are unsure what is needed for your, please reach out to other admins at your school before doing this so you don't need to do extra work / remove any data en masse. You may also reach out to the Genesis Help Desk as well.

You will need to click on the arrow to the right of the Process to run the tool and copy the info to the next year.

These are destructive updates. If they have been run already, they will overwrite the info that is already there and completely replace it if run again.

There is now a new "lock" icon to the right of each task. If you click this, the task will be locked.
