Creating Codes Tables

District-Created Codes Tables

Codes tables can be added to the set on the Setup>Codes screen.

Codes tables can be added by the local district for various reasons.   For example:

  • For a category of Accommodations in Lesson Plans
  • To create a set of codes for a ReportWriter report

Adding a New Codes Table

To add a Codes Table, do the following:

  1. Go to the Setup>Codes screen.
  2. Click the button. Here "Add Code" means "Add Codes Table". This brings up the "Add Codes Table" dialog:
  3. Enter a code to identify the new table to the system.
  4. Enter a Description - the name by which users will know the table.
  5. Click to add the new table.

After you create a Codes table, you can add codes to it.  Find instructions here.
