Notes

The 'Total Absent' column adds up all of the values in the day_absent column of the ATTENDANCE_DAILIES2 table. If a record has a value of 0.5 in that column, 0.5 will be added to the 'Total Absent' column.

The 'Total Tardy' column works the same way.

The 'Students Absent' column adds up all the unique students who have a value greater than zero in the day_absent column of the ATTENDANCE_DAILIES2 table. If a record has a value of 0.5 in that column, 1 will be added to the 'Total Absent' column. Please note that students that have already been found to have been absent during the time period selected for this report will not be counted more than once.

The 'Students Tardy' column works the same way.

Since each of these pairs of columns are measuring slightly different things, they will often report different numbers.
