Printing Labels
Question: When I print my labels for the entire district, one of my schools is not printing. What could be wrong?
Answer: Only schools that are marked as In District will be used when printing labels for the district. You can modify this field on the Setup -> Schools screen by clicking on the Modify icon. Once the modify screen opens, switch the "In District School" field to Yes and hit save.
Question: Why are the labels not lining up correctly when printed?
Answer: To make sure that the labels print properly from Adobe Acrobat, try using the Actual Size option when printing. Sometimes this setting is called Fit to Page or Use Page Scaling, which should be turned OFF. These can be found within the prompt message when File > Print is used within the document. In Chrome, try unchecking the FIT TO PAGE option. You may also need to adjust the offsets.
Question: When I create labels with the setting "Create one label set per family code" it creates a label for only one of the siblings. Which sibling does Genesis select to get the label?
Answer: When labels are generated at one label per household, Genesis will create a label for the oldest sibling (sibling with the highest grade level). Genesis can tell which students are siblings by comparing Family Code for students. Students with matching Family Code are considered to be siblings regardless of last name, contact names, or address.
