Student 504 and IRS RTI Import

This process imports Student 504 and Student IRS tracking records into Genesis.  The file formats are as follows.

Student 504 Import File

Student 504 Import file should be in CSV format with the following fields.  Column headers may be included but are not required as the fields must be in the order listed below.

** If your vendor includes an Exit Date in position 5, it may be used as an override to End Date if it is populated for a student.  In order to do so you must set the option "Import file has an additional Exit Date column" on the tasks configuration page.

The import process will look at each 504 record in the file and perform the following logic for each.

1.  Import will search for all other existing 504 Tracking records for the student. 
   1. If an existing 504 in system has a start date after the 504 start date in the file, that existing 504 tracking record will be removed.
   2. If an existing 504 in system has a start date prior to start date in the file, then an end date will be applied to the existing 504.  End date will be day prior to start date of 504 in file.
   3. If an existing 504 in system has a start date equal to start date in the file, then the end date from the file will be applied .
2. 504 Tracking record from file will then be saved to student.

Student IRS/RTI Import File

Import file should be in CSV format with the following fields.  Column headers may be included but are not required as the fields must be in the order listed below.

The import process will perform the following logic:

1. If there is an IRS Tracking record in the system that does not appear in the import file, then that IRS Tracking record will be updated with an End Date of today.
2. IRS Tracking record from file will be saved to student.
