Webdesk Data Peeps

Data Peeps can be checked off via Webdesk>Setup>Data Peeps.

Data Peeps are available based on staff identifiers tied to the staff ID. 

Current staff identifiers that can select data peeps are: counselors, vice principals, teacher, disciplinarians, coaches, case managers, and principals.

For example, in the Staff>Staff>Modify Staff>Demographics screen, if a user is only marked as a "teacher," only data peeps marked as "teacher" are available for that user to set up.

Teacher data peeps would be: 

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments. 
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff. 
• Todays Class Schedule: This will show all classes that one of your identities is teaching today. 
• My discipline incidents: This will show you all discipline incidents created by one of your identities. 
• My students who are absent today: This will show you all students who are absent today who have one of your identities as a teacher. 
• My Favorite Reports: This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• Students who are absent today: This will show a list of absent students in your school.
• My Student Watch List: This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list and who have one of your identities as a teacher. 
• My students with discipline today: This will show you all students with discipline today who have one of your identities as teacher.
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Case Manager data peeps would be:

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments. 
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff.
• My students with discipline today This will show you all students with discipline today who have one of your identities as case manager. 
• My students who are absent today This will show you all students who are absent today who have one of your identities as case manager. 
• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen.
• Students who are absent today This will show a list of absent students in your school.
• My Student Watch List This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list and who have one of your identities as a case manager. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Coach data peeps would be:

• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• My players who are absent today This will show you all students who are absent today who have one of your identities as a coach in the current season. 
• My players with discipline today This will show you all students with discipline today who have one of your identities as coach in the current season. 
• My Coaching Watch List This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list and who have one of your identities as coach. 
• My Player Contact List This will show you contact information for students on your team(s) who have one of your identities as coach. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Counselor data peeps would be:

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff.
• My students with discipline today This will show you all students with discipline today who have one of your identities as counselor. 
• My students who are absent today This will show you all students who are absent today who have one of your identities as counselor. 
• My students who have requested a transcript This will show you all students who requested a transcript who have one of your identities as counselor. 
• College Acceptance - 3 Years This will show the number of students applying to colleges and the acceptance percentage for the past 3 years. 
• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• Students who are absent today This will show a list of absent students in your school. 
• My Student Watch List This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list and who have one of your identities as counselor. 
• My students waiting to see me This will show you all students who have checked into a guidance event and have one of your identities as counselor. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Disciplinarian data peeps would be:

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff.
• My Open Conduct Incidents This will show all open incidents (no actions) that have one of your identities as administrator. 
• My HIB Conduct Incidents This will show all incidents with an attached open HIB that have one of your identities as administrator. 
• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• Students who are absent today This will show a list of absent students in your school. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Principal data peeps would be:

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff.
• College Acceptance - 3 Years This will show the number of students applying to colleges and the acceptance percentage for the past 3 years. 
• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• Students who are absent today This will show a list of absent students in your school. 
• Students with discipline today This will show you all students with discipline today in your school. 
• Student Enrollment Enrollment counts in your school for today 
• Student Watch List This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list in the school. 
• Open Conduct Incidents This will show all open incidents (no actions) in the school. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Vice Principal data peeps would be:

• My Scheduled Appointments: Shows todays and future scheduled appointments
• Requested Appointments: All requested appointments where one of your identities is listed as staff.
• College Acceptance - 3 Years This will show the number of students applying to colleges and the acceptance percentage for the past 3 years.
• My students with discipline today This will show you all students with discipline today who have one of your identities as vice principal.
• My students who are absent today This will show you all students who are absent today who have one of your identities as vice principal. 
• My students who are tardy today This will show you all students who are tardy today who have one of your identities as vice principal. 
• My Favorite Reports This will show a list of your favorite reports. Favorite reports can be added from any report screen. 
• Students who are absent today This will show a list of absent students in your school. 
• My Student Watch List This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list and who have one of your identities as vice principal. 
• Student Watch (Student List) This will show you all students who qualify for your watch list who are in a specific student list. 

Additionally, if you want to give access to ALL data peeps to a user, you can add the "webdesk.setup.home.alldatapeeps" securable location to one of their roles. It will give the user access to view/add/use all "data peeps" for all of the user types.

We also added the ability to mass set User's Data Peeps by role.

Users will need the "webdesk.home.setup.admin" location in order to use the feature.

This is done via Webdesk>Setup>Data Peeps, using the "Setup Users" button.

When you click it, you will get a pop up with a tool that will push out your data peep setup to a selected Role.

This process will update all users with a selected role.

The setup for your user, --Your Logon-- , will be copied to all users with the selected role. Student Lists and Watch List Data Peeps attached to student lists will not be copied.
