Student Merits and Demerits in Gradebook

Overview

This allows teachers to submit Merit and Demerits for students on their roster. 

• Merits/Demerits is a system used for punishing and rewarding students based on acts of merit or insubordination. 
• It is ideally used for elementary grade levels that want a way to reward students for good behavior. 
• These are not reported to the State. 

• The merits/demerits that are created through the Gradebook are to be reviewed by an administrator. The admin responsible with then either approve or deny each merit/demerit submitted. 
  • It is optional to have all merit/demerits automatically approved
• The Admin part of this system is controlled via: Code of Conduct->Merits-Demerits, and setup via: Code of Conduct->Setup->Merits-Demerits
