Running State Reports

Some quick info on running some of the end of year reports you may be required to submit.

Running SID Management

This extract is found via NJ>NJ Smart>Snapshots. This is our main SID article.

There are typically three SID Management extracts. These are always subject to change as NJSmart releases changes and updates.  If you have any documentation on changes, please enter a help desk ticket to share any new info/documentation with us.

• SID Management Student Data - which runs your SID managements as of today. The "local data mart" etc
• End Of Year SID Management - which runs SID management as of the last day of school in the listed school year (regardless of summer transfers or rollover)
• Fall SID Management (includes Current, Graduates and Summer Withdrawals) - which includes Current, Graduates and Summer Withdrawals.

Running the Course Submission files

This extract is found via NJ>NJSmart>Course Submission.

To "Run" it, click on the "Collect Data" button to the right of the school.

When it's finished, you can then download the Staff and Student files to submit/review in the "Staff Data" column and "Student Column."

You can click the log to the right of each extract to review the errors you may have received.

Running the State Assessment Registration extract

The State Assessment extract is found via NJ>NJ Smart>Snapshots.

This submission will collect the registration information of students participating in the NJSLA, ACCESS 2.0, and DLM assessments etc.

There are various tools to update the students' assessment fields found on the NJ>NJSmart>Tools>Assessment subtab. You can also update fields with student lists via Student Data>Mass Change by selecting the “Assessment Testing Data” field in Step 2.
