Reconcile Class Attendance to Attendance Cycles

This process will go through each class in your school and verify that class attendance was not taken on a day prior to the start date of the course or after the end date of the course. If an attendance record falls on a date outside of the dates a course meets, the attendance record will be deleted.

Reconcile Class Attendance to School Calendar

This process will go through each day on your school's calendar and determine if any class attendance exists on a non-school day. If class attendance is found on a non-school day, it will be removed from the database. We determine a non-school day by looking at the date on the calendar. If the day is not there or if the field Attendance Taken is set to No, then this date is considered a non-school day and class attendance will be removed. 

Reconcile Class Attendance to the days met for this course

This process will go through each day on your school's calendar and determine if a course met on specific day. If class attendance is found on a day the course did not meet, it will be removed from the database. This may take a while to run... 

Reconcile Class Attendance to Student Daily Attendance

This process will find class attendance records on all day's that a student does not have any daily attendance records. If a class attendance record is found on a day without a daily, the class attendance will be removed from the database. Please verify that you do not have student's who legitimately do not have daily attendance but do have class attendance attendance. If you do have student's in this situation, you may not want to run this function because those student's will lose their class attendance.

Repost Daily Attendance

This process will repost all Absent, Tardy, Left Early and Homebound Daily Attendance codes for students in Genesis High School. If your school is setup to propagate your Daily Attendance to Class Attendance, then the class attendance will be updated. This will run for each date you designate in the start and thru fields. 

Repost Class HR Attendance

This process will repost Class Attendance in homerooms so that the attendance codes will propagate back to Daily Attendance. This will run for each date you designate in the start and thru fields. This process will not overwrite attendance that is not the Genesis default present code (-).
