Mass Post Daily Attendance

The Mass Post screen allows users to apply an attendance code to an entire list of students, either for a single date or a range of dates. This tool is used most commonly when mass-adding a Field Trip, to occur on a future date.


This tool can be found via Attendance > Daily > Mass Post 



Step 1:   Selection of Students

  • Select a student list containing students to update. Or, type in the ID# of a specific student to update.


Step 2:    Select date(s) and attendance code to set

  • Select a date using the calendar icon. Check off "Date Range" only if the attendance is being applied to multiple dates.
  • Then, select the Daily Attendance Code to post to the students.
  • Optionally, check the box to "only post for students marked present".
  • Optionally, set the "DNC" (Do Not Call) box accordingly. Selecting Set Do Not Call will check the 'DNC' box for all students, preventing them from getting an automated phone call.
  • Optionally, fill in the Comment box with the attendance comment that should be posted.


Step 3:    Post the Attendance Code

  • Push Post Attendance to run the tool.
  • A confirmation message will appear when the tool is finished running, and summarize the number of students updated and what date(s) were completed:


NOTE:  If your school has Daily to Class Attendance Propagation enabled, this task WILL automatically update student Class Attendance, based on the selected Daily Attendance code. This works with future dates as well. See Attendance Propagation to learn more.
