Overview
Assessments and Data Views can be displayed in the parent module.
Users of the parents module will see a screen similar to the one below:
- An optional link to a web site that contains more information about the assessment can be displayed to the user as well.
- For example; for the SAT assessment; the link might bring the parent module user to a site owned by College Boards.
Parent Access Roles
The Parent Access role will need to have ASSESSMENTS checked off to see the tab. You review the parent roles via Parent Access>Setup>Roles.
Configuring Assessments to display in Parents Module
- Checking the option "Show in Parents Module" on the Assessments>Setup>Modify Assessment screen will allow an assessment to be displayed in the parents module.
- There is also a text box where you can specify a URL that will be shown to the parent for that assessment.
- Each score column that you wish to display needs to have it's associated "Parents Tab?" check box set.
