Grading Process Checklist
The Grading>Setup>Setup Guide screen provides a checklist with a few relevant links to specific tabs you may need when setting up grading.
For example, after performing the summer rollover process with us, you will be pointed here to assign grading collections to subsections.
Setup School Grading Parameters
Setup Valid Grades - This link leads you to the Grading>Setup>Valid Grades screen.
Setup Comments and Comment Categories - This link leads you to the Grading>Setup>Comments screen.
Setup Collections and Collected Items - This link leads you to the Grading>Setup>Collections screen.
Design Report Cards / Interim Reports - This link leads you to the Grading>Report Cards>Templates screen.
Manually assign grading collections to subsections - This leads you to the Scheduling>Sections screen.
If you want to use this for assigning collections to your subsections, you need to perform a search from the Scheduling>Sections screen after selecting "GRADING" in the "View" dropdown.
Then, you can check/uncheck the collections for each section en masse/individually:
Or click here to start a wizard that will automatically assign collections to all subsections - clicking this button opens up a wizard that will do this process for you.
Process to Update Grade Collections En Masse Using the Wizard:
- Go to Grading>Setup>Setup Guide.
- Make sure you're in the correct school (at the top of the screen.)
- Click "automatically assign collections to all subsections" in the "Or click here to start a wizard that will automatically assign collections to all subsections" area.
** The process above updates the GRADED_COURSES table.
