You can view, modify, add, delete an individual student's NEXT YEAR SCHEDULE via Student Data>Modify Student>Next Year Schedule.
If you are using the STUDENT SCHEDULER, please refer to the main Scheduling article as well as our Next Year Scheduling Process Overview Guide first.
You can add a "next year schedule" to a student directly on this screen, or make manual changes once a schedule is "locked in."
The subtabs include: View Schedule, Drop Class, Add Class, Schedule Audit, Schedule Analyzer.
You can also "lock" courses for the student on this screen. You would first check off the course(s) that should be locked by clicking the padlock next to those courses. Then click the "Lock Selected Courses" button to 'save' the locked courses. Locked courses cannot be dropped from any of the student scheduling screens.
There are 2 options on the Setup>Districts>Basic Params tab - Allow Student Schedules to be Locked and Allow Student Requests to be Locked.
If you want the option to lock courses on this screen, check off Allow Student Schedules to be Locked.
Quick Note: Be aware. This is not for adding Next Year Requests. This screen is for actually creating/viewing a student's Next Year Schedule.
If you are using the Student Scheduler, and you are still running it to get the best schedule output, you can/should make Next Year Request changes to a student via Student Data>Modify Student>Next Year Requests.
