* Address Search and Grade Search -> Student Grade Search screens

- Both screens will now honor all student filters assigned to a user. Prior to this change, the student filters for Dynamic and Static Lists were not being honored.


You can review student grade information via Student Data>Student List>Grade Search.

There are 7 subtabs: Grade Search, Missing Grades, Grade Discrepancy, Course Summary, Projected Final Grades, Grade Distribution, and Posted Grade Verification.

Discrepancies

For schools using numeric grading, added a Discrepancy check box which will show you student grades that have a difference of 0.5 points or greater between the posted report card grade and the gradebook grade for a marking period.

New option when clicking the settings icon that will show an icon next to any grade that has a difference within
 the results.

Only Show Students with Missing Grades


Only Show Students with Failing Grades


Include students from other schools

By default, the grade search will find all grades for your students in school 2002 that fit the criteria selected. If the all schools option is selected, grades posted in this school for students in other schools will be included in the results.

Grade Discrepancies

For schools using numeric grading, added a Discrepancy check box which will show you student grades that have a difference of 0.5 points or greater between the posted report card grade and the gradebook grade for a marking period.


New option when clicking the settings icon that will show an icon next to any grade that has a difference within the results.

Example of the new "Discrepancy" search tool:

Only show grades that have a difference of at least 0.5 points from the gradebook grade of the course.

You can also configure the search to show an icon when a grade with a discrepancy has been found by clicking on the settings icon.

There is also a subtab named Grade Discrepancy for districts to use/analyze.

Course Summary

We added in a new screen that allows you to analyze the average report card grade for selected courses.


The Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Course Summary subtab.

This screen shows you the average grade for the selected course(s) and the sections of the course(s).

You can add in an unlimited amount of courses to be analyzed.



Missing Grades

We added a new screen to view missing grades for specified marking periods - Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Missing Grades.

The screen will highlight missing grades where the student started after the marking periods end date.

A button on the top will allow you to mass update all highlighted grades to an alpha grade of your choice.



Projected Final Grades

We added a new "Projected Final Grades" tab - found on Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Projected Final Grades.

You can perform searched on this tab and export the results to excel or PDF (in the top right hand corner.)

The Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Grade Distribution subtab:



Posted Grade Verification

The Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Posted Grade Verification screen shows users which courses have posted the required grades for each marking period.

The screen can create a PDF report or Excel spreadsheet with the data.


NOTE: Report 23190 - Grade Posting Status by Department has been replaced by the Student Data>Student List>Grade Search>Posted Grade Verification screen.
