Mass Creating As Needed Medications

It is possible to create As Needed Medication records for a group of students with a single operation.  

This can be done on the Nurse>Setup>Medications screen.

The Mass Create PRN Medication operation can work two ways:

• Mass Create the Medication for ALL STUDENTS ON A SELECTED STUDENT LIST or
• Mass Create the Medication for ALL STUDENTS NOT ON THE SELECTED STUDENT LIST

To mass create As Needed Medications, do the following:

1. Go to the Nurse>Setup>Medications screen.
2. Locate the "Create 'As Needed' or PRN Medications" panel:
   
3. Select a list of Students
4. Select whether 'This process will': 
   • Assign the medication to students in the selected list
   • Assign medication to all active students in this school EXCEPT the students in the selected list
5. Dosage - Specify the dosage
6. Add optional Comments
7. Click Create Medication
