Final Grades for Elementary Courses

Final Grades must be submitted for students in grade levels 6 through 12.

1. If you grade your 6th, 7th or 8th graders using secondary school grading (using the Genesis Grading module), you can skip this section. Final Grades will be captured in the normal way.

2. If you grade your 6th, 7th or 8th graders using the Elementary Grading (standards/skills based) Module, you may need to do special setup to get Final Grades for those students.

•  A schedule is required in order to submit Final Grades. If you do NOT already have a schedule for the subjects you need to grade, you must add those courses to the schedule.

3. If you already use the Gradebook for these students, then you have the schedule already set up; you will only need to configure the mechanism to report the Final Grade to NJ SMART.
