When can a Lesson Book be Deleted?

A Lesson Book can only be deleted when it contains no Lesson Plans.  It can contain multiple Unit Plans - but it must have no Lesson Plans at all.

How can you tell If a Lesson Book can be Deleted?

A Lesson Book with no Lesson Plans will have a trashcan Delete icon appearing in the right-most column on the Lesson Planner->Lesson Books->List Books screen.

This screen also shows you how many Lesson Plans and Unit Plans each Lesson Book contains:

If a Lesson Book contains any Lesson Plans, the trashcan delete icon will not appear for it.  Before it can be deleted, you must first remove all of the Lesson Plans from it.

Deleting Lesson Books

Lesson Books can be deleted one at a time or 'en masse'.  Both actions are done on the Lesson Planner->Lesson Books->List Books screen.

Deleting Lesson Books One at a Time

1. Go to the Lesson Planner->Lesson Books->List Books screen.
2. Locate the Lesson Book you wish to delete and click the trashcan icon corresponding to it.  A confirmation dialog will be displayed:
   
3. Click OK to continue and delete the Lesson Book.  Click Cancel to abandon the operation.

Mass Deleting Lesson Books

1. Go to the Lesson Planner->Lesson Books->List Books screen.
2. Check the checkboxes to the left of the Lesson Books you want to delete:
   
3. Click the trashcan Delete icon that appears immediately below the column of checkboxes. A confirmation dialog is displayed:
4. Click OK to continue and remove all the checked Lesson Books.  Click Cancel to abandon the operation.

What Happens to Deleted Lesson Books?

All deleted Lesson Books are stored on the Lesson Planner>Lesson Books>Trash Can screen and can be located there: 

Recovering / Restoring Deleted Lesson Books

Deleted Lesson Books can be restored to your set of active Lesson Books by doing the following:

1. Go to the Lesson Planner>Lesson Books>Trash Can screen.
2. Locate the Lesson Book you wish to restore and click the button corresponding to it. A confirmation dialog will appear:
3. Click OK to continue and restore the Lesson Book to your set of active books.  Click Cancel to abandon the operation.

Can a Lesson Book be "Double Deleted" and removed from the Deleted Books screen?

No.  All deleted Lesson Books always remain on the Lesson Planner>Lesson Books>Trash Can screen.
