Copy Lessons

This screen gives you the ability to mass copy Lesson and Unit Plans in various different ways and from previous school years.

Copy Screen Options

These screen options lets you break down where, what, and how you copy Lesson Plans to your current Lesson Books. You can copy individual Lesson Plans, entire Units, and entire Lesson Books.

Select Year to Copy From - Gives you the ability to copy from any school year that there are Lesson Plans in

Select Lesson Book to Copy From - Gives you the ability to copy from any of your Lesson Books and any of your Lesson Pals' Lesson Books. You can copy from Lesson Books that are in different schools.

Lesson Book to Copy To - Gives you the ability to copy Lesson Plans into any of your current year Lesson Books, regardless of what courses they may be tied to.

Start Date for the Copy - Allows you to set a start for the Lesson Plans that are being copied into your current Lesson Books

Copy Units Only - When this is checked off your search will only show Units and you can only copy Units Plans. Copying this way will NOT copy Lesson Plans, it will only copy/create Unit Plans. Leave this UNCHECKED to view and copy Lesson Plans

Copy Lesson Plans

To copy Lesson Plans setup your search with the option 'Copy Units Only' UNCHECKED

When you search this way you will see every Lesson Plan in each Unit.

• Use the check boxes to the left to select as many Lesson Plans as you want to copy 
• If you check off the check box for the Unit it will select every Lesson Plan in that Unit
• Click the icon to the right of a Lesson Plan to view the info in the lesson

Once you've made your selection click the 'Verify Lessons to Copy' button and you will be brought to another screen

This Verify Lessons to Copy screen lets you double check your selection of Lesson Plans that are going to be copied into your current Lesson Book

• On the left side is a listing of the Units and Lesson Plans that you have selected to be copied over
• On the right side is how those Units and Lesson Plans are going to be copied/created in your current Lesson Book
• Use the check boxes to deselect any Lesson Plan you do not want to be copied/created
• Use the Unit Drop Down Box to specify which one of your current Lesson Book's Units you want the Lesson Plans to go into. You can use the option 'Use unit from existing lesson' to place the lessons you are copying into their original Unit. This will create a new Unit in your current Lesson Book
• Existing Plans - This number tells you how many Lesson Plans currently exist on the Date you have selected to copy that Lesson Plan to

Once you have finished verifying the Lesson Plans you want to copy, click the 'Copy Lessons' button

Copy Unit Plans Only

To copy only Unit Plans setup your search with the option 'Copy Units Only' CHECKED.

When you search this way you will only see Unit Plans and can only copy Unit Plans. No Lesson Plans will be copied this way.

• Use the check boxes to the left to select as many Units as you want to copy. 

Once you've made your selection click the 'Create Units' button and your selected Unit Plans will be copied over/created in your current Lesson Book
