This screen gives you a great overview of all the different pieces that make up your lesson planner. 


TABLE OF CONTENTS

My Lesson Books

This section shows you every lesson book that you have in the current school and the total numbers of units and lessons that make up each book 

  • Clicking on the name of your lesson book will open up the lesson book parameters screen for that book
  • If your lesson book is tied to a course you can click on the 'Gradebook Icon - and it will take you that course's Gradebook
  • Clicking on the number of Units will populate the 'Units' section with a listing of that lesson book's units
  • Clicking on the number of Lessons will populate the 'Lessons' section with a listing of that lesson book's lesson plans
  • If you click the 'Trashcan Icon it will delete/remove the lesson book 
    • You can only delete a lesson book if there are no lesson plans in it

Units

This section shows you every Unit that you have in the currently selected lesson book

  • Clicking on the name of a Unit will open up the Unit Plan parameters screen for that Unit
  • Clicking on the number of Lessons will populate the 'Lessons' section with a listing of that Unit's lesson plans
  • Clicking on the 'PDF Icon - to the right of a Unit will open up a printable PDF Unit Plan Summary

Lessons

This section shows you every Lesson Plan that you have in the currently selected lesson book. If you have a specific Unit Plan selected it will show you every Lesson Plan in that Unit.

  • Clicking on the name of a Lesson Plan will open up the Lesson Plan parameters screen for that Lesson Plan
  • Clicking on the 'PDF Icon - to the right of a Lesson Plan will open up a printable PDF Lesson Plan Summary
  • If you click the 'Trashcan Icon  it will delete/remove the Lesson Plan

Lesson Pal Books

This section shows you every lesson book that your Lesson Pals have in the current school and the total numbers of units and lessons that make up each book.

You are limited to read only access to these lesson books, meaning you cannot edit your Lesson Pals' books

You can view, print, and copy your Lesson Pals' Units and Lesson Plans

  • Clicking on the number of Units will populate the 'Units' section with a listing of that lesson book's units
  • Clicking on the number of Lessons will populate the 'Lessons' section with a listing of that lesson book's lesson plans

 

Clicking on the 'Copy Icon  for a Lesson Pal's Unit will open up a copy prompt that will let you specify which of your Lesson Books you want to bring the Unit Plan into

  • Use the 'Keep start dates' check box to optionally keep the start dates originally set on each lesson plan by your Lesson Pal
  • Clicking on the 'PDF Icon' to the right of a Unit Plan will open up a printable PDF Unit Plan Summary

 

Clicking on the 'Copy Icon' for a Lesson Pal's Lesson Plan will open up a copy prompt that will let you specify which of your Lesson Books and Unit Plan this Lesson Plan into

  • Use the 'Keep start date' check box to optionally keep the start date originally set on this lesson plan by your Lesson Pal
  • Clicking on the 'PDF Icon' to the right of a Lesson Plan will open up a printable PDF Lesson Plan Summary

 

You can also leave comments and ratings on your Lesson Pals' Lesson Plans by clicking the 'Comment Bubble Icon'

  • You can write a text comment about the lesson plan in the box
  • You can use the 'Apple Icons ' to give a rating out of 5
