Backup FTP Files Task

Overview

This task will send the backups created on the Core.Backups tab to 1 or 2 FTP/SFTP servers.

Before configuring this task; ensure that backups are running correctly on the Backup Database task.

Options

FTP Server Host Name or IP

The host name or IP address of the server to send the files to.  Do NOT use a URL.  Examples could be 192.168.1.11 or backups.myserver.com

FTP Username

Username to use for authentication

FTP Password

Password to use for authentication

FTP Active/Passive

If using standard FTP; this will set the file transfer mode to Active or Passive.   If using SFTP, ignore this option.

Files to send

You have the option of sending the database files; or database files + audit trail.

FTP Server Type

The type of FTP Server.   It can be FTP (Which nornmally runs on TCP Ports 20 and 21) or SFTP (Secure FTP via SSH)

SFTP TCP Port

You can specify a non standard TCP Port for the SFTP transfer If the server type is SFTP.
