Teacher Assignments

The Setup>Security>Teacher Assignments screen allows you to review/modify logon IDs and the staff IDs tied to them.


You have the option to search for teachers that:

  • Have this specific user assigned 
  • Have the following checked - such as Teachers, Case Managers, Counselors, Nurses, Principals etc. These are the identities tied to the Staff ID on the Staff>Staff>Modify Staff>Demographics screen.
  • Teach at This School - the list of schools available in your district.
  • Show Active Only - uncheck/check to get active/inactive logons.
  • Show Teachers Not Assigned To Users - check this off to locate logon IDs not tied to any staff IDs.  This will be helpful if you've added in a new teacher and you have not yet tied their logon ID to their staff ID.

To make modifications to any account on this screen, click the modify icon to the right of it.  It will bring you to the screen below:


You can remove or add staff members to the logon ID via this screen.  

You can also check off an individual staff member to "represent that user."

That means, if you have more than one staff ID attached to the logon, you can check off your own staff ID to note that it represents you, within that logon ID.
