Dispensing Medications from Nurse Visits

The Nurse Visit Details screen lists all of the Medications (i.e. prescriptions) currently on file for a student and allows the nurse to "fast dispense" them:

The header area of this screen includes a list of the student's current Medications:

To dispense one of these, the nurse clicks on the blue, underlined name of the Medication.  E.g. Flovent

This brings up a "Dispense Medication" dialog:

The Dispense Medication dialog will contain an entry for all scheduled times during the day when the student should get the Medication, if the Medication can be given on an "as needed" basis, it will also contain an entry with a blank time.

Viewing Medications Dispensed During a Visit

When, following the procedure described above, a Medication is dispensed during a Nurse visit, the name of the Medication changes to green font, and also appears in the "Med Given" field of the visit:

A Medication Log record will also have been generated, and can be located and updated on the Medication Logs screen.
